Members of our family are involved in the home inspection business. After numerous discussions about the software and tools they use, and their various complaints, we decided to help improve their lives and those of other home inspectors.
To achieve this, we plan to develop software for a field currently dominated by a few large companies. As a small software company, we are taking on the role of David in the story of David and Goliath, which requires us to seek funding to get our plan in motion.
Having previously worked on an investor-funded product that prioritized earnings over user satisfaction, we decided to launch a Kickstarter campaign. This will allow us to fund the project through future users of the tools. We have also created a forum where users can provide feedback on preferred functionalities versus those that generate the most revenue.
